Guononggang School unveiled in Beijing's Pinggu district

The Guononggang School was officially unveiled on April 16 at a press conference in northeastern Beijing's Pinggu district. During the event, a global talent recruitment plan was announced. 

The school also signed a cooperation agreement with China Agricultural University (CAU), followed by a roundtable discussion among experts and scholars from various fields, clarifying the educational philosophy and practical pathways for the deep integration of "agriculture + education."

"Running education with an agricultural mindset means returning to the original mission of education—using the patience and wisdom of agriculture, respecting each child's natural growth rhythm, allowing them to develop according to their own talents, and letting education return to its essence," said Pinggu's Governor Di Tao.

Pinggu district is currently advancing the integrated development of "five zones"—campus, community, industrial park, urban district, and scenic area—striving to build a livable and work-friendly "Agricultural Science City along the Ruhe River."

Guononggang School is a school covering elementary, middle, and high school levels. Principal Yu Huixiang of the school said that the school will integrate three major high-quality resources: first, the mature teaching and research system, teacher training resources, and high-end talent development platform of Beijing Yuying School; second, the top-tier research strength of China Agricultural University; and third, the agricultural industry and talent resources of the district and the broader Beijing area, thereby aligning education with industrial development.

The conference also unveiled a global talent recruitment plan, inviting education professionals from around the world to join. Pinggu district will provide recruited teachers with comprehensive support policies, including official government teaching positions, salary packages comparable to leading municipal model schools, talent apartments, fast-track medical services, and professional growth opportunities.
